Ready for Breastfeeding
Ready for Breastfeeding is an in-person prenatal breastfeeding class at South Lake Hospital. The class focuses on the benefits of breastfeeding for baby and mom, what to expect when initiating breastfeeding, skin-to-skin holding, positioning, deep latch techniques, pumps and pumping, and basic troubleshooting. We encourage mom to bring up to two support people to the class. Class is offered on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 6-9PM, and Saturdays 10AM-12:30. Scholarships are available.
