Ready for Baby is an in-person newborn care class at South Lake Hospital. Class includes what to expect during the hospital stay, infant nutrition options, immunization facts and options, developmental milestones, soothing baby, and newborn hygiene: bathing, diapering, skin care. This class is hosted by a maternal-newborn nurse/lactation consultant. There is time for a Q and A session at the end of class. We encourage both parents to attend class. Class is offered on select Tuesdays, 6-8:30PM.
